The laser beam acts on the melanin pigment in the hair shaft and hair follicle. Cells with melanin are heated and destroyed - the hair shaft is damaged, and due to the absorption of optical energy by haemoglobin, the vessels that feed the follicle are sealed. As a result, the follicle itself dies off.
The result is visible for the client after the first procedure - after 10-14 days, 30% of all hair falls out.
The reason is simple: after the first session, only hair at the growth phase - anagen, is removed. They make up about 1/3 of all hair. As it is known, hair is at different stages of growth.
For complete hair removal, 3-5 sessions are required
People with hypertrichosis and elevated testosterone or dihydrotestosterone may need 10 procedures.
Please note that sometimes new hair follicles form in the body. That's why we recommend repeating the sessions every year.
Due to some diseases, the number of procedures increases up to 10
